Sewing for babies

One of my close friends had a baby. I spend 9 months waiting to find out the gender of the baby, secretly hoping it was a girl so I could finally use my cute baby girl sewing patterns. She had a girl! As soon as I found out, I got to work sewing. I used Simplicity 4766. I made the extra small, and cut off 14 inches from the bottom to make it into normal dress length.
The embroidered organza did not have a scallopeed edge, so I used the scallop edge setting on my sewing machine and make one. Then I carefully cut the scallops out using embroidery scissors.
I got all of the fabric from Fabricland.

Anniversary Lingerie
As an anniversary gift I made a couple of sets of lingerie for a friend. The black set above is made using black cotton and glissennette from Bra Maker Supply. The black picot and regular fold over elastic are from Fabricland. The pattern is self drafted.
The black and white set was fun to make. The bra is a Pin Up Girl Classic bra pattern. I drafted a power bar, internal push up pocket, and push-up cookies. The main supplies for this bra are from Bra Makers Supply. The black lace and picot fold over elastic are from Fabricland. The panties are self drafted.

This final piece was very interesting. I used the bralette and pantie patterns and drafted them together to create this one piece. All supplies are from Fabricland.
